The first thing you must have is a your own domain name. This is often referred to as a URL, or ‘Uniform Resource Locator’, a pointer to a “resource” on the World Wide Web. If you do not already own your domain, we suggest you go to Godaddy.com and see what is available for your site. Once you have decided on your domain name we can get started. DO NOT BUY THE NAME. Your domain is included in the price of your build.

Next you must determine a general theme for your site. You must determine what you want your site to do. Will it be to inform? entertain? or persuade? And what do you want it to feel like? For example site for children may want to be fun or playful, whereas a racing site may want to project power and grit. A sports site should project action and excitement, but a concert musician’s site may prefer classic frills and filligree…you get the idea. |

Do you have a logo? If not, or if you’re wanting to update the one you have, we can create one for you at no additional cost. While we are on the logo…what would you want for your Tag Line or slogan? or do you want one at all? |

Colors are important during the initial phases. Your preferrences are paramount. |

What pages will you want? The basic pages found on most websites are the Home or Welcome page, an About page, and a Contact page. Beyond that there are such considerations as a Links page, a News page, a Forum, Blog or Gallery, maybe a Store or Media page. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. Consider all aspects of your business or ministry. |

Text is the most cumbersome part of building a website for the customer. No one knows your business or ministry like you do, so the text must come from you. Submit your text digitally in an email or Word document. |
